he sports center, externally surrounded by a wooden pedestrian path and a tartan running track, has an area of 3000 total square meters distributed on three levels. It contains, besides the areas dedicated to physical activity and the changing room, a sauna, a Turkish bath, and, on the last floor, two indoor pools with a telescopic cover and solarium. The project had to combine the flexibility of a prefabricated structure with the use of materials and shapes that allowed to obtain an aesthetically impacting complex. To contain energy consumption and respect the environment, the sports center has been equipped with solar panels. Moreover, the telescopic cover that protects both pools also works as a greenhouse effect that maximizes the energy efficiency, further reducing consumption and polluting emissions.
